| WinChart's History WinChart generates a clear, concise and easily read anaesthetic record. It is a multi discipline point-of-care automated anaesthesia record keeping system, designed to capture clinical information from patient monitoring equipment and other peripheral medical devices, along with data input from clinicians and custom interfaces to hospital booking and lab based applications. This information produces the final Electronic Patient Record (EPR), which can be printed at the point of care as well as being archived for subsequent retrieval. The EPRs are then collected into a centralized database for the purposes of collective decision-making and research support. WinChart combines the very latest technologies and years of research and development to produce a complete solution to the needs of the anaesthetist, the Anaesthetic department and private practice environment. WinChart provides clinical decision support and produces a detailed and flexible database facilitating critical incident monitoring and continuous quality improvement. It will integrate with the hospital network, allowing real-time access to patient data, including lab results, medical notes and previous anaesthetic records. The product is delivered on a touch screen wireless tablet, which allows users to be mobile while connected to the hospital network with continuous collection of clinical data. |
